A fantastic permanent position has opened up in the Children and Families sector. If you have attained a recognised qualification in working with children or young people, then we have several opportunities for you. Experience of dealing with children between the ages of 16-18 who are moving on to independent living is desirable, this position will provide the opportunity to gain experience in these areas, but previous experience with younger client groups is essential. An NVQ 3 qualification or above is also deemed essential. The role as a Project Worker/Social Work Assistant in West London would involve providing a Personal Advisory Service to young people, offering and teaching appropriate life skills and conduct weekly visits to check on their development. The role would also involve keyworking clients and helping them manage their budgets, showing them how to cook and clean and develop into successful and independent adults. This position has excellent rates of pay and would allow you to work as part of a small, friendly and supportive team, and be part of an ever-expanding and worthwhile project within a non statutory service.
